Hazel

HAZEL – Rochester NY area

Female black lab (mix?), 1 year 4 mos old – completed heartworm treatment and her crate rest! She is good to go!

FOSTER HOME WANTED – we pay all expenses!

From her current foster in TX: Hazel is very low maintenance black lab. She loves all dogs big, small, and of all ages. She also gets along with cats. Hazel is a very relaxed dog that loves to lounge around and she’s extremely quiet for the most part. If the cat is left outside, Hazel will remind us to let our cat back in before bedtime. She really has been the most calm and relaxed rescue we have had in quite awhile. Out of all our current rescues Hazel does things without being told, she takes to hand gestures quite easily. She has been a pleasure living with, and she will be missed dearly! Hazel has a few cute unique things about her such as; when you give her a treat, she won’t take it out of your hand, she rather you toss it in the air like a toy and she’ll roll around with it and toss it in the air with her mouth like it’s a trophy before she enjoys eating it. She’s very greatly appreciative and thankful for anything she gets.

Hazel does great with new intakes, and she forms bonds with everyone. Walks well on a lead. She is very relaxed and loves to play gently with her foster brother and sister.
