Welcome to K9 Orphans!
K9 Orphans, Inc. is a non profit all breed canine rescue out of Rochester, NY that works with high kill shelters, homeless dogs, and owner surrender dogs to prevent euthanasia. We do not have a shelter or kennel, our dogs are placed into foster homes where they receive lots of love, training, and any medical care they need can be provided to them while they wait for their forever homes.

Get Involved!
Fostering saves lives. But we know not everyone can commit to foster a dog. We are always in need of volunteers to help take dogs to appointments and on outings, or donations of food, toys, and other supplies.
