You may have seen our recent post that it’s #ALLEN DAY! This week we encountered this beautiful gentle soul and pulled him out of a shelter at 10 years old. It’s going to take a village to get this guy to forget his past and start healing. Allen went to the vet Thursday evening. This is what they said:- Heartworm positive- Lung damage from the Heartworm. Like a type of bronchitis…- Eye infection- Ear infection- Hip joint is bone on bone – One leg is broken in 2 places (not using)- One leg is broken yet healed (somewhat)On top of all of this…- His body is filled with BBs. Yes, filled with birdshot. …Allen is the sweetest guy and is enjoying all the love in his foster home. We are going to try our best to fix him. Thank you for your help.
